Children's Museum
Lots of fun indoor learning and play experiences for kids. A special area to explore for kids under 3. Admission is free the first Friday of the month from 4-8pm, or with a Cultural Pass from the Forest Grove Library.
Families on EBT can get tickets for $5 each as part of the Arts for All program (more info here). You must show your Oregon Trail Card at the ticket desk.
Families on SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, section 8 housing, or who qualify for free/reduced school lunch can get a Family Access Membership, which allows unlimited visits for a year for $10. Applications take 4-6 weeks to process. (Rumor has it each family can get this offer only twice). Forest Grove Athletic/Aquatic Centers
Free amenities for Students/ Spouses with a boxer ID include:
- Pool- They have two pools, a slide, diving board, hot tub, and sauna. The pool schedule changes quarterly, you can view it on the website.
- Outdoor Spray Park- open summer only.
- Fitness center- Children are not allowed in the fitness center.
- Tennis Courts- Generally open 9am-9pm, but are closed for university competition and practice. Hour changes are posted at the complex.
- Basketball Courts
Also offered are swimming lessons ($45 for 10 lessons), baby swim lessons, and University athletic events. Costs $3 for children or adults without a boxer card.

Forest Theatre
A second-run theatre, that's honestly a little gross... but with your boxer card movies are only $1 instead of the usual $3.
Fred Meyer Childcare
The Cornelius Fred Meyer has a playplace that will watch your kids up to an hour while you shop (sorry, you can't leave the building, but you don't have to buy anything). They must be 2 years old, but don't need to be potty trained.
Outdoors In
A park in Hillsboro that's great no matter how bad the weather is! Features a playground, bouldering wall, and electronic games.
Outdoors in is especially for children 2-12. Hours are 9-12 and 2-5 M-F, 9-12 and 1-4 Sat, and 1-4 Sun. Cost is $5 per child ($3.50 if you're a Hillsboro resident). Accompanying adults are free.
Out of This World Pizza
Pizza and play place- inflatable toys, climbing wall, play structure, designated spot for younger kids.
$5 per child ages 1-4, 5+ is $7 each, adults free. Mondays are $4 (except public school holidays).

Free Bowling Thursday nights 7-9pm with a boxer card.

Live community theatre. Tickets for students are $10 (general admission $12).

Zane's Playroom
A free indoor learning and playroom for kids 3 and under with a parent. At Pacific University's Berglund Hall - Room 021. Hours change each semester, but are currently Mon 9-11, Wed 9:15-11, Thurs 9-11.
